  1. If you begin to feel sea sick, or motion sick; take slow, deep breaths

Too many carbonated and or alcoholic drinks can unsettle your stomach which will make you more sensitive to motion sickness during the journey. Therefore if you are not fit, rested and healthy you will probably suffer more motion sickness than you usually do.

  9. If you begin to feel sea sick, or motion sick; if you're not sure you are prone to seasickness, try reading a newspaper while in a moving car. If you have no problem with that, the chances are you should have no problem with ships either.
