Motion Facts and Information

  1. Trip ease may be taken with any other medication. Like other homeopathic remedies, trip ease is most effective when taken separately from food and drink, but has been specially formulated so that it may if necessary be taken in association with food and/or drink, i.e. coffee.

  2. For motion sickness or sea sickness: Do not skip eating before diving. An empty stomach can be almost as bad as one with the wrong types of food in it. Give your stomach acids something to work on other than your well-being. Give your stomach time to begin digesting you meal. Get up a little earlier if you must to eat relaxed and an hour or more before going out on the water.  Don't overeat and get bloated either.  Easy does it.

  3. Motion sickness or sea sickness is usually just a minor annoyance and does not signify any serious medical illness, but some travelers are incapacitated by it, and a few even suffer symptoms for a few days after the trip.

  4. What Can I Do for Motion Sickness: Avoid strong odors and spicy or greasy foods that do not agree with you (immediately before and during your travel).

  5. Symptoms of motion sickness, seasickness or altitude sickness: Vomiting, this mechanism is usually for getting rid of bad food from the stomach, but in the case of motion sickness there is usually no bad food in the stomach, therefore after vomiting there is not the usual relief and the suffer still feels sick and miserable.

  6. Relief Bands for motion sickness can help prevent the unpleasant symptoms of travel sickness.

  7. The movement of a boat on a fluid sea creates stress in the portions of the brain responsible for balance. Perhaps that stress causes the brain to start malfunctioning as the land based environment it understands is suddenly not behaving, as it should.

  8. To relieve motion sickness or sea sickness always sit in the front of a vehicle and look out the front window only.

  9. To avoid motion sickness, sea sickness or altitude sickness: In the car: sit in the front seat or drive.

  10. Seasickness happens when the body, inner ear, and eyes all send different signals to the brain, resulting in confusion and queasiness. It is a problem generally attributed to disturbance in the balance system of the inner ear (vestibular) system. Your sensory perception gets out of synch as these nerve fibers attempt to compensate for the unfamiliar motion of the ship moving through water.
